Drifter Vans is a custom luxury campervan builder specializing in Ford Transit and Mercedes Sprinter conversions. Every van is crafted for remote work, off-grid travel, and long-term vanlife, with personalized interior design and high-end finishes.

We’re based in Southfield, Michigan, but we serve clients nationwide. We’ve built vans for customers across the U.S. using a proven remote design and build process.

Both. Clients can choose from our Signature Layouts (The Wanderer, Drifter, Scout, and Nomadik) or work with our team to create a fully custom layout based on their needs.

Each Layout offered in the Drifter Signature Layout offers unique layout tailored to different travel styles and needs:

• The Wanderer is perfect for weekend adventurers and road-trippers who want simple elegance and space to stretch out. It features an open floor plan and does not include an indoor shower—only an outdoor shower accessible at the back doors. A toilet option can be integrated into a bench drawer for added flexibility without compromising space. This model comes in two lengths: 20 ft and 22 ft, offering flexibility depending on your space and driving preferences.

• The Drifter has a very similar layout to the Wanderer but includes an indoor Tetra shower. This shower is located near the sliding door and flips into the cabinetry when not in use. A toilet option can also be integrated into the bench for added convenience. This model comes in two lengths: 20 ft and 22 ft, offering flexibility depending on your space and travel needs. It's designed for full-time travelers who need expanded living space, dual workstations, and high functionality.

• The Scout is a compact option with clever storage, ideal for solo or minimalist travelers, offering a full wetbath and up-front seating for comfort and functionality in a smaller footprint.

• The Nomadik is built for full off-grid performance with elevated systems and flexible storage for gear-heavy lifestyles. It includes a wetbath and cozy seating next to the bed, giving the interior a warm, homelike feel that's ideal for extended travel or full-time living.

All Signature Layouts are customizable and include professional interior design, premium materials, and handcrafted finishes to reflect your personal style.
