Crafted, Certified, and Never Repeated

The Drifter Difference

Drifter is an experience. Our Coachcraft Production Process is a proprietary method that stands apart from pre-manufactured RVs and campervan conversions companies. Instead of forcing you into a preset floorplan, we start with how you live and travel, then move your coach through a tightly controlled sequence of design, engineering, and craftsmanship. You work directly with our founder Paul, our master builders, and our interior design team through dedicated calls and consultations, while our Owner Studio keeps you connected with build updates and photography—so no matter where you’re located, it feels like you’re right here in the shop with us. This is the Drifter Difference—coachcraft that feels intentional, composed, and unmistakably yours.

 Discovery Call &
Estimate consultation

Your journey begins with a 15-minute discovery call, easily booked through our website or by phone. You’ll speak directly with Paul, our founder, who will listen carefully to how you want to travel and what you value most. From there, we’ll outline whether one of our Signature Layouts or a fully custom coach is the best fit, answer your initial questions, and make sure Drifter is the right match. If it is, we’ll schedule a dedicated one-hour video consultation to explore layouts, features, and finishes in depth and create a tailored estimate for your coach.

Once your personalized estimate feels right, a $5,000 deposit secures your place in our production schedule for the current Collection Series and officially sets your coach in motion. This is where our proprietary production process begins. Together with Paul and our master builders, you’ll refine your layout, options, and key interior and exterior elements. At the same time, you’ll work directly with our interior design team to shape every inch of the space—materials, cabinetry faces, colors, finishes, lighting, window dressings, and the personal details that make it yours—while our team coordinates ordering your Transit or Sprinter through our trusted dealer partners so design and production move forward in harmony.

3. Crafting your Coach

Once your design is approved, your van enters the heart of our Production Process. In the shop, master builders, electricians, and systems specialists move through a disciplined sequence—structure, systems, cabinetry, and finishes—so nothing feels improvised or rushed. Every cut, wire, panel, and surface is checked against your plan with an eye for both function and restraint. Throughout the build, your Owner Studio portal keeps you close to the process with photo updates and milestones, so no matter where you are in the country, it feels as if you’re right here in the shop as your coach comes to life.

When your campervan is complete, we bring everything together in a calm, thorough handover. You’ll have two options: you can travel to Drifter HQ for an in-person delivery experience, or choose our white-glove service, where your coach is delivered to you with a dedicated technician to walk you through every system on your own driveway. In either case, we take the time to demonstrate how everything works and answer every question until you feel completely at home in your coach. You’ll step into ownership with DrifterCare support, warranty coverage tailored to custom coaches, and the confidence that your coach has been built, tested, and refined for real travel—not just for the showroom floor.
