Custom Campervan Interior Design
Design comes first. Every Drifter includes real interior design: materials chosen, colors balanced, spaces shaped with intention, developed one on one with a Drifter interior designer from the first conversation to the finished van.
Why There's a Designer in the Room
Most custom campervans come from one of two places: conversion companies that add equipment to a van one purchase at a time, or production lines that repeat a single interior across hundreds of vehicles. Neither approach could build what Drifter set out to build — a van capable of the road ahead, and a home worth returning to when the door closes.
That brief is an interior design problem. So the first problem Drifter solved was finding a designer. Every Drifter interior since the first has passed through the design studio, and the standard set on the earliest builds is the one every interior is held to.

Kathleen Nalli, Interior Designer. Employee number one, designing Drifter interiors since the first van. More than eighty builds carry her work; the standard the collections now hold was largely written in it. Grandmother first. Designer of eighty vans a close second
Kristy, Interior Designer. Referred by Kathleen Nalli and trained at her side — the standard, passed on directly. Now designing her own Drifter commissions. Mother of six. Family comes first here too.
Your Inspirations Gathered First
Inspiration. Before your first conversation, you gather inspiration: rooms, vans, materials, colors, anything that pulls you. The images don't need to agree with each other. On the first video meeting, your designer walks through them with you and puts you at peace.
The Moodboards
Your designer builds moodboards from your references and refines them with you, one on one, until the direction is yours. Nothing advances until it is.
Your Designer One-of-One
The Result. The images that didn't agree with each other are now one interior. Every decision you made is physical: the cabinetry faces, the surfaces, the colors, the light. You watch it happen in Owner Studio as production builds it, and at delivery you step into the home you designed. One of one. Yours.
