Signature Layouts define how the space is organized. They are not preset builds or fixed packages. Each one goes through the same production process — architecture, cabinetry, systems, and interior design developed together by a Production Designer and Interior Designer before anything reaches the production floor.
Owners who want to start from scratch work directly with the design team to build a layout from the ground up. Different starting point. Same standard. Same build.
Designed Around You: The Drifter Difference
Drifter commissions twenty-four custom campervans per year as part of an annual Collection Series. The limited number is not a marketing decision — it gives the design team the time to develop each build properly. Every layout, material selection, and systems configuration is developed around a specific owner and a specific brief before anything reaches the production floor.
No two builds are the same. No carry-over layouts. No default finishes. Each campervan is commissioned once, built once, and entered into the Drifter Archive Registry at completion.
Professional Interior Design
Every custom van conversion at Drifter includes direct access to a professional interior designer. Paint, counters, backsplash, hardware, fabrics, lighting — every surface and finish is selected together, developed around the brief, not pulled from a catalog.
There are no preset option packages. No good, better, best tiers. Every material decision is made once, for one build, by one owner.
